This new unique template is tailored to the needs of real estate agents, contractors, and property management companies interested in a site that showcases listings or catalogs. But it will also work great for any business in need of a site with page content based on databases or a filtered view of them.
Please note that this template is available for accounts with the Agency plan and higher.
The real estate agency template offers upscale design with a carefully chosen palette of bright and engaging colors. In addition to dynamic pages, it also comes with blog and FAQ widgets to accommodate the needs of clients from this and other industries (like travel, classes, cooking and recipes, artists, etc.). Give it a unique look and feel by adding customized images, client testimonials, and use the helpful journal page.
Dynamic pages are ideal for building websites with content that’s based on databases, and need to show specific categories as separate pages in the site. This template comes with dynamic pages that are essential for a real estate company’s website: a page of properties for sale, and a page of properties for rent.
Using the dynamic filter capability of dynamic pages, you can filter one big comprehensive dataset with lots of details and attributes, to show specific content on separate site pages - depending on your client’s needs.
This is made possible using the following two components found in the template:
1) A comprehensive dataset (or collection): One large property collection called ‘All Properties,’ including all relevant details such as property address, price, whether the property is available for sale or for rent, number of bedrooms, and many other attributes.
2) A filtered collection: To create category pages that show properties filtered by 'For Sale' and 'For Rent,' we use another collection called ‘Property Categories’ that has these exact two attributes (see below).
Next, to make it possible to have the For Rent and For Sale property categories as separate dynamic pages under the site's main navigation, a dynamic filter is applied to the image gallery widget showing the properties, using both of these collections.
See how it all comes together:
The collection-based content pages you’ll find in this template are just an example from the real estate industry. You can easily and instantly create category pages based on specific interests or needs of any kind. Some examples include real estate listings, team members, catalog items, classes, and more - just replace the template’s collections with the ones relevant to your client’s business and you’re good to go.
To give another example, let’s say you’re building a site for a travel agency that offers all kinds of trips around the world. Using one comprehensive collection together with another simple one for trip types, you can create filtered category pages for specific themed trips like Safari and Culinary trips. The possibilities are endless.
Want to add even more category pages to your site? No problem - just add another attribute collection to your site’s content library, apply a dynamic filter using both, and instantly create more unique category pages.
The content of dynamic pages is managed by the collection they’re connected to. To access the collection, open the Content tab on the left panel in the editor, and select the collection you want to edit.
Alternatively, you can upload any number of additional collections and apply a dynamic filter to create more dedicated category pages.
If your client needs a site with dynamic pages based on listings or a catalog, this template could be a real help.
