Duda sites now support IndexNow, the new protocol that aims at making sure that a website’s most recent content is indexed by search engines. Last month, Bing & Yandex announced their support of the new protocol.
IndexNow enables websites to submit updated content directly to search engines and have the content immediately crawled. This means search engines can update their index and search results with the freshest content.
How it works with your Duda sites
When you publish or update a site or page, Duda will automatically submit it to Bing, Yandex and all other search engines which support IndexNow. This will trigger a crawl from these search engines to update the content in their index, to show it faster to searchers.
Duda handles all the tasks of supporting the IndexNow API, including:
You don’t need to lift a finger!
The best news is that you don’t need to do anything at all to take advantage of this improvement. It’s automatic. And as always, if you don’t want your context indexed by search engines, you can
turn off indexing in the page settings of each page.
