We’ve made a series of updates to the platform’s built-in blog feature, to simplify and streamline the way you manage and customize blogs for clients. From filtering posts by multiple tags to sorting by chronological order and bulk actions, this update is packed with enhancements that will help you manage blogs like a boss.
If you’re using tags to create post categories for your client’s blog pages, this one’s for you. We’ve added the option to filter posts by multiple tags in the All Posts and Recent Posts blog widget.
For example, if you have a site dedicated to tourism in NYC, and have created blog posts with separate tags for NYC restaurants and NYC hotels, now you can quickly filter all posts with the combination of these two tags (or more). The marketing possibilities this filtering option can give you and your client is virtually endless.
You can now sort both published and created posts by descending (newest first) or ascending (oldest first) chronological order. This will help you and your client keep track of the blog’s content much more easily.
Save valuable time and simplify your blog content management with bulk actions for posts: Select the relevant posts, then click just once to publish or republish multiple selected posts in one go. And we’ve got more bulk post actions in the pipeline, so stay tuned.
We’re now supporting search by post descriptions (in addition to search by post title, author and tag) in 2 important areas:
These context-enhanced search results mean more efficient blog management overall for you or your client, and a boost of clients’ engagement with their audiences online.
Leverage these new updates to truly manage blogs like a boss. We're excited to see how these will help you build and manage projects for clients at scale.
