We’ve improved the native store’s pricing management in your catalog and product page, to make it easier for you to set sale prices for products or services, and to quickly show and deploy them on your product page.
We’ve added a new On sale toggle option right in the product pricing area, to instantly show a sale vs. regular price on your product page. As you’ll see, we’ve also moved and simplified the area where you manage product pricing so you can quickly view and edit it as soon as you land on your product listing in the catalog.
To help you spend more time selling and less time setting up your product pricing, the product page will automatically sync with and show your sale price (if you’ve set one up), using a new Product Price widget that'll be automatically added to, and display the pricing of your product page.
All that’s left for you to do is make sure that product is active and republish your site to make it live.
Please note that this update currently applies to site templates you’ve manually added the native store to. Soon we’ll apply this update to native store templates as well.
Simply go to your product page in the editor, and delete the existing pricing (text) element that’s connected to data. Next, add the Product Price widget and place it in your product page. That’s it - the widget will retrieve your product’s updated pricing from the catalog, including any sale price you’ve set for it along with the original price marked off and shown right on that product page.
